Thank you

Please accept this very belated and generic thank you...my sense of etiquette tells me I should write individual thank-yous, but a reality check tells me it's better to do it this way than not at all. :)

Our family is so appreciative of the love and gratitude expressed to us at the end of the basketball season. It was amazing the creativity that was exhibited in the expression of thanks,  from kind words, pencils, and hand-made cards to apple butter, tea bags and azalea plants, with many other wonderful gifts in between. Each gift speaks to us in a different way, and we not only appreciate each gift, but even more the givers. We know that sports commitments can put a big strain on families, and we appreciate your willingness to join together with ours and other families to make RHAA possible.

Thanks again!

Practice Jerseys

Hey guys -
As I was putting away the uniforms today, I came up short a few old jerseys. I know that you all were using some of the old ones for practices, and wonder if perhaps some of you still have them. The numbers missing are:
15
14
8
25

Please, check your drawers and laundry - if you come up with one, let me know and we can arrange to somehow get it back!

Thanks,
Becky

Re: rescheduling games...

Me again -
If you haven't already responded to the message about possibly scheduling more games, don't bother. We have evaluated the responses we have received so far, and my family has convinced me that we need to just declare the RHAA basketball season officially over. (too many conflicts - one person this day, another person a different day, etc.) We are sorry for the disappointment this will cause some of you, but as one parent pointed out, that's part of life. It doesn't always work out the way we hoped it would.

So, the only thing left on the schedule is the Basketball Recognition Night, which we will hold Friday, Saturday 13th. We have already received notice that a few players cannot make it (and are very sad about it), but again, it gets complicated to make a change... if we change it, likely we'll have other people who can't come. So, we're just going to have to go ahead with what we have planned.

It truly has been a pleasure working with all of you. As much as I feel like I failed in making this work out, it is easier to make the final decision because I know you are all supportive and understanding.

So, we'll see you the 13th to celebrate the end of the season...

Hi all -
Too bad the snow couldn't have waited til tomorrow, so we could get this game against Fulton in.

I am trying to figure out possible rescheduling dates for this game as well as dates that we might be able to schedule one or two more games. However, the bits and pieces of information that I've heard about different schedules and availability makes me wonder if we will be able to find a date that works for the majority of the team! Since we didn't have anything on the calendar, people have started making other commitments, and I'm afraid we may just have to call it a season.

But, we are going to see if we can work something out....I've started with the head coaches' availability. Now we need to check on players. Just to clarify, we are talking about Varsity Boys, and Gold Team Girls

Please reply to this email ASAP and tell me which of these dates WOULD NOT work. If you have already told me, you don't have to again...

Thurs, March 5
Friday, March 6 (girls only)
Saturday, March 7
Monday, March 9 (boys only)
Thursday, March 12
Friday, March 13
Saturday, March 14

Obviously, we had scheduled the end-of-year recognition night for Friday, March 13th, but that isn't set in stone...

Thanks for taking the time to do this.
